Baltinglass beat St. Pats 1-10 to 0-5 to complete a remarkable comeback in the last 18 minutes of this final. For 40 minutes of this game Baltinglass played second fiddle to St. Pats and only there defence kept Baltinglass in the game. Baltinglass trailed 0-4 to 0-1 at half time. The turning point in this game came with Kevin O'Brien's goal which brought the scores level at 1-2 to 0-5 and the introduction of subs John O'Keeffe and Damien McMahon who both scored 2 points each as Baltinglass dominated the last quarter to win by 8 points.
