Ladies Panel Details:

At last our Junior A ladies team made the breakthrough to win the Junior A championship when we defeated St. Pats in the final.
This match was played under lights in Annacurra on Wednesday the 15th September 2010. What a game it was!!
We started very well and we went six points up by half time. But St Pats rallied strongly in the second half and turned the game around - to the extent that they took a three point lead going into the final ten minutes.
However the hard training stood to our girls and we scored three great points to level the game. The last point scored by Geraldine Norton.
In extra time the tension was almost unbearable - we scored two points and St. Pats scored one by half time. In the second period of extra time we appeared to be that bit fitter and eventually Katie Murphy kicked the winning point.
Well done to team manager - Paul Garrigan and his selectors Paddy Dowling and Jim Cushe - you all worked very hard during the year and you got your just rewards.

We will now play in the Ladies Senior Championship in 2011 for the first time in the history of the Club. Well done!!

The Ladies part of Baltinglass GAA Club is growing rapidly and we now have 1 Adult Team - Junior 'A' - (Senior in 2011) and 4 Juvenile Teams representing the Club.

Our Ladies Junior Team won the Wicklow Junior Championship for the first time in 2006 and with lots of good young players coming through to backup the experienced ones, the future looks bright.

In 2008 we competed in both the All County Junior 'A' Championship and League Finals - Even though we lost both Finals to Eire Og Greystones, and the Junior A final again to Tinahely in 2009 there are many reasons why we can look forward to a successful and enjoyable year during 2010.

One of the many reasons we can luck forward to a successful 2010 is the performances of our Underage Girls Teams during 2008 and 2009. Competing in the 'A' Championships and Leagues for the first time - we qualified for both U12 and U14 Championship finals in 2008. We subsequently went on to win the U12, U14 and U16 championship finals during 2009.

Our U15 Squad played in the Kildare League during October and November and we won all our matches - a clean sweep. Keep up the good work girls!
