Well done to our Junior B panel who beat Carnew on Saturday in Aughrim and have now qualified for the semi final of the Junior B championship. The lads played very well after a slow enough start. Brian Lord kicked our first score and he went on to play one of his best games for this team. Mark Byrne kicked some good points and we led at half time 0 - 08 to 0 - 03. Early in the second half Thomas Fogarty scored our first goal and thereafter we were in control - ending up winning by 3 - 13 to 0 - 05. We now await the winners of An Tochar and Kilccole - their replay is on 10-10-2009.
