Our Minor team ended up so unlucky not to qualify for the semi finals of the championship. We all remember back in August when we were beating Rathnew by 7 points with three minutes to go when the referee incredibly abanboned the game!!!
The powers to be decided that the match should be replayed!!!!!!!
We went to Roundwood on Wednesday (23rd Sept) and after a very close match we were very unlucky to lose by 1 single point. (Having practically beaten Rathnew by 7 points a few weeks earlier).
On Sunday the 27th Sept we then travelled to Hollywood to play St. Kevins and we beat them by two points - even though we were short a couple of our stronger players. 
We were now level on points with Rathnew and to decide who qualifies for the semi final the new ruling states that the result of the group match between the teams decided who goes through - yes Rathnew now play Saint Pats in the semi final next week-end.
Well done to the panel and mentors - you were hard done by.
